As I begin this article about Create the Future Summit 2025, I must first acknowledge to all readers that maintaining an objective perspective will be challenging. This isn't merely a confession, but an honest expression of the deep affection I hold for this event and the personal connections formed throughout my participation journey.

Unlike other conferences and summits where my attendance serves journalistic purposes, Create the Future Summit has been a uniquely meaningful journey for me. I participated as a panelist at its inaugural event in 2024, and this year in 2025, I joined remotely from New York as a Commit Member, experiencing every aspect from inception to execution. From the planning stages through implementation, I was able to witness the event's growth while breathing alongside every moment. The dedicated efforts and passion of leader Shawn and his key partners Michelle, Ken, Brett, and others deeply moved me. Moreover, through bi-weekly communications with all committee members who volunteered their time believing in the future's value, and sometimes weekly exchanges, followed by direct meetings and interactions during on-site preparation, I naturally developed deep affection for this project and its participants. This journey transcended simple event participation to become a meaningful experience of moving together toward a shared vision.

Held at Werqwise in San Francisco on August 14th, the summit broke beyond the boundaries of a typical event. Business leaders, technology visionaries, government officials, and cultural innovators came together to dismantle silos and design the future through shared understanding and cooperation. Encounters with global leaders—from immigration pioneers like Fragomen, to asset service innovators like Linnovate Partners, to transformative companies like EPIKAR to Humanoid Robot Company, Unitree —showcased the limitless potential of international collaboration. These were not just inspiring stories; they were concrete models of the borderless cooperation we seek to foster.

First, I want to express deep gratitude and respect to everyone who made this event possible. My nine-year relationship with Shawn Flynn, Managing Director of SVH Capital and the driving force behind this summit's speaker coordination, holds special significance for me. While I cannot clearly recall the exact catalyst for our initial meeting, my ability to consistently provide unconditional support and sponsorship for his endeavors stemmed from deep trust in his vision and passion. Through this support, I've had the joy of meeting precious and outstanding friends, and companions with whom we sketch out the future together.

I extend sincere gratitude to the committee members who led this entire process with tremendous dedication. Ken expressed deep appreciation for everyone's hard work and support throughout the organizational process. Special thanks go to Michelle Yuan (Marketing and Design Director), Ken Nim (Overall Organizational Support and OffChain Global Founder), Brett Bunnell (Swiss Army knife handling all necessary roles and Partnership), and Stanley Li (Registration Team Manager), who served as the solid core foundation and table legs of this summit.

The experience of meeting committee colleagues I had only communicated with remotely, becoming friends and companions, was an irreplaceable precious moment. Your positive energy and collaboration were the true driving force that made this summit possible.

However, I will strive to maintain that perspective as accurately and specifically as possible. While maintaining an objective viewpoint isn't easy, I aim to convey this event's essence and value as clearly as possible.

This summit, featuring speakers and moderators from not only different U.S. states but countries worldwide, along with committee members who dedicated themselves to globalization efforts from the other side of the globe, provided profound inspiration and reflection far beyond a simple tech conference or networking event. Watching participants from diverse cultural backgrounds and professional fields unite toward a common vision demonstrated a true model of global cooperation.

Key Features and Achievements of Create the Future Summit 2025

This summit comprised over 75 VIP speakers and more than 20 panel discussions, with an expected attendance of approximately 500+ participants. The achievements appear to have already surpassed expectations, though we'll observe specific outcomes in due time.

The summit's core themes I want to convey were crucial topics penetrating the future. Many had previously asked, "So what exactly are you discussing?" When we consider what it means to create the future, this isn't a simple concept. Since it's a process we collectively believe in, advocate for, and build together step by step, sometimes that vision may not appear clearly defined.

However, the summit's true value lies in the process of sharing these conversations together, recording those dialogues, and individuals carrying those experiences and insights home in their pockets and minds. These shared experiences and knowledge lead beyond personal growth to collective development. Within this summit, builders—those who actually construct the future—can plant precious seeds for follow-up work based on these ideas and inspiration. This represents a process of laying groundwork for substantial change and innovation, transcending simple information exchange.

Revolutionary Innovation: 1-on-1 Deal Matching Sessions

One of this summit's most notable innovations was the 1-on-1 Deal Matching Sessions specially designed for VIP participants. Designed to connect directly to business opportunities without noise, these sessions aimed to link startups, investors, and partners through focused, private meetings to create substantial opportunities and close deals. Particularly, developing an app for this deal matching in such a short timeframe was an extraordinary achievement demonstrating technical capability and execution power, signaling important groundwork and development potential for the upcoming Create the Future Summit 2026.
