  • As a member of the Taskforce for Busan City during the Host City Competition of the APAC Conference in 2004, I played a pivotal role in planning, organizing, and executing strategies to present Busan as the ideal host city. This role required strategic foresight, effective communication, and a deep understanding of the conference's themes and requirements. I contributed to Busan’s successful selection as the host city for the APAC Conference, outperforming several other competing cities.

  • As the I.T. & Online Project Manager for the 8th UNEP Special Session, I was responsible for overseeing and implementing the information technology and online systems required to support a global environmental policy event. This role involved strategic planning, team leadership, and technical execution to ensure the seamless integration of technology in event operations, enhancing participant engagement and operational efficiency.

  • Romantic movement, Seoul was planned for the city marketing of Seoul Metropolitan Government as short film episodes adapted from the novel Romantic Movement by Swiss writer Alain de Botton.
    The short film 17 episodes were captured in various locations around Seoul and were distributed online channel. In addition, the celebrities were are Yeo Wook-hwan (Ja Myung Go), Sohn Byung-Wook (Private Eye), hip-hop singer Defconn, and Jung Jun-il of rock band Mate.

  • ​The research project was conducted by Paul’s company, StepintoCity (former BigC.), in partnership between Hyundai Motors, Mount Sinai, and Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce to research the Mobile Clinic Industry, find potential partnerships with local healthcare providers & companies, and design business model.
    StepintoCity designed a new concept of healthcare mobile clinic based on EV bus, concept of the business, Radical hypothesis, and potential patient scenario.

  • I created KDaCovid19 Campaign with Korean American doctor associations in New York and New Jersey so that the taskforce including MediHere telehealth company and StepintoCity team helps people suffering in the uncertainty and misunderstanding about COVID-19. This campaign provides hotline, telemedicine service and the updated information that the taskforce verified.

  • Meet the Table 2020 (MTT2020) was a virtual conference, hosted on Hopin, connecting business and entrepreneurs from around the world, focusing on New York and Seoul. The topic was how to create business plans to expand globally and overcome the travel restrictions caused by Covid 19.
    Meet the table 2020 virtual summit consisted of large and small virtual sessions using various methods: webinars, keynote speeches, one-on-one chats, and post-meeting live Q&A sessions. Each of these sessions, known as “tables,” had its own host. Audiences could participate in multiple tables, freely network, and access sponsors' brands, products, or services via virtual Expo Booths. Moreover, remote simultaneous interpretation and subtitle services were provided.

    This virtual summit is in the transformation to Meet The Table, a city based business matchmaking platform powered by StepintoCity, targets foreign companies and entrepreneurs who wish to advance overseas in various fields such as healthcare, smart city, startup, education, culture, art, LGBTQ, tech, commercial law, and visas. Through Meet the Table, foreign businesses can meet "True Locals" including local government agencies, partners, influencers, and experts who clearly penetrate each region's market, information on practical market research, customized strategy plans, "New Normals" that are created due to COVID-19, and more.

  • Founded in 2014, Product School is the world’s first technology business school. They provide certified courses in Product Management, Data Analytics, Coding, Digital Marketing, and Blockchain to professionals across 15 campuses worldwide and offer the same courses live online. All courses are taught by real-world product managers working at top technology companies such as Google, Facebook, Slack, Airbnb, LinkedIn, and Netflix.

    As an Organizer for Seoul, South Korea, I help connect passionate product people with expert product people and innovative businesses. I am responsible for all logistics of organizing events in Seoul with Co-organizers: securing speakers, venues and hosting and community development across multiple platforms.
